Paolo Boccagni has recently published a commentary to a Special issue of Zeitschrift Für Anglistik Und Amerikanistik, a “Quarterly of language, literature and culture”. The Special issue, edited by Amina ElHalawani, is on Haunted by Homes. It includes valuable and original contributions from the field of literature and poetry studies, by scholars such as Fatemeh Shams, Lisa Marchi, Lars Eckstein, Russell West-Pavlov, and Amina ElHalawani. As their essays show, historical and political questions of displacement, exile and settler colonialism can be productively addressed through the prisms of home and homing, in humanities as much as in social sciences.
