This volume lays out a framework for understanding the connections between home and mobility, and situates them within a multidisciplinary field of social research. Using original fieldwork with cases of migrants from Latin America, East Africa and South Asia, the authors adopt an encompassing lens on labour, family and refugee flows to enquire people’s dwelling in motion. Does the experience of home offer a privileged entry point into migration, diversity and inequality? And if so, how can ethnographers make sense of their findings?
The authors will present their work and engage in a critical debate with discussants and attendees. Feel free to join us online!
The webinar will be streamed via Zoom. Please register in advance, by writing to bernardo.armanni@unitn.it
