Home and homemaking will pop up in quite a few sessions at the forthcoming  Annual IMISCOE Conference in Oslo, at OsloMet University, from 29 June to 1 July. Two former homingers will also participate in-site. On June 30 afternoon, session #142, Paolo Boccagni will give a paper on From a frozen present to a frozen future? Waiting, negotiating temporalities and envisioning a better future within a refugee centre in Northern Italy. On June 30 afternoon (a bit later!), session #168, Alejandro Miranda-Nieto will give a presentation on Temporal modalities of home among South American migrants living in Madrid.
